Terms

Last updated: 1 August 2026

This is the plain-language agreement for using Into the Open. By using it, you agree to what is below.

What this is

Into the Open is a self-reflection tool. It asks you good questions and hands you one small thing to do. It is run by Jaroslava Brinkman, IČO 75292084, Dolní 281/2c, 500 02 Hradec Králové - Roudnička, Czech Republic. Contact: hello@intotheopen.co.

What this is not

This is not therapy. It is not medical, psychological, or professional advice. It is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. It does not diagnose or treat anything. If you are dealing with something serious, please take it to a real person who is trained to help.

You are talking to AI

The questions and the conversation are powered by AI, running my method. It is not a human reading your words in the moment. AI can be wrong, can miss things, and can say something that does not fit you. Take what is useful, leave the rest, and use your own judgement. Nothing it says is a professional opinion.

If you are in crisis

If you are thinking about harming yourself, or you are in danger, please stop and reach out to a real person now. You can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com, or call your local emergency number. This tool is not built for emergencies and cannot help in one.

What I ask of you

Use this for yourself, honestly. Do not use it to harm anyone, do not try to break it, and do not use it if you are under 18.

What I promise, and the limits

I built this with care and I stand behind it. But I cannot promise it will fix anything, change anything, or work for everyone - self-reflection is personal and results are your own. To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for decisions you make, actions you take, or outcomes that follow from using this tool. You use it of your own free will and take responsibility for what you do with it.

The money

The paid three weeks costs a one-time fee, shown before you pay, handled by Stripe. If the first conversation back gives you nothing real, tell me within the three weeks and I will refund you, no argument. Write to hello@intotheopen.co.

Your right to change your mind

As an EU consumer buying a digital service, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because the service begins immediately when you start, you agree that it starts right away - but my own refund promise above is more generous than the law requires, so you are covered either way.

Your words

What you write stays yours. I store it only to run the tool, as described in the privacy page, and I delete it as described there.

Changes and law

I may update these terms as the tool grows. These terms are governed by Czech law. If something here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
